The Cartel

***Please note location***

This month, we will watch The Cartel at Bob's house in his home theater.

The Cartel is an award-winning 2009 documentary about the horrifying state of public education in the United States. Directed by Bob Bowdon, the film looks at the union leaders and bureaucrats enforcing the status quo while those trying to make a difference get punished. It shows what happens to the children when their schools fail them, but then also shows what some communities are doing to change their schools, before their children's future is destroyed.

More info, including reviews and interviews, are on the movie's website. The movie was produced with assistance from the Moving Picture Institute, which promotes freedom through film.

The meeting, on Saturday, January 15, at 7 p.m., will be at Bob Bugby's house in Ballwin.  Email mail@gatewayobjectivists.net for directions or more information.

"My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."
