A presentation by Jeff Kiviat

This month, Jeff Kiviat will give a talk entitled "An Objectivist View of Taxation." He will explore the the history of the US tax system, what rights taxation is based on or infringes upon, and what type of tax system should be used in a society that fully recognizes individual rights.

This event is sponsored by the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition, and other tea parties are being held simultaneously in 170+ cities across the country that day. More info can be found here.

The meeting, on Saturday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m., will be at Lorie Bugby's house in West St. Louis County.  Email mail@gatewayobjectivists.net for directions or more information.

"My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."
