June Meeting:
C-SPAN’s American Writers -
“Ayn Rand & U.S. History 1930 - 1950”

At our June meeting, we will watch the episode of C-SPAN’s American Writers series featuring Ayn Rand. The show, “Ayn Rand & U.S. History 1930 – 1950,” which portrays Rand within the context of history, aired last month. Viewers can see an abundance pictures and artifacts of Rand’s life, the places she worked in Hollywood early in her career, as well as interviews and video clips. There are extensive interviews with Jeff Britting, the curator of the Ayn Rand Archives, and Eric Daniels, a political historian from Duke University. The host, Connie Doebele Brod, also interviews Leonard Peikoff.

Join us on Saturday, June 15, at 8 p.m. at the home of Joy & Jeff Kiviat to see and hear this retrospective of Rand’s early work. Call (314) 469-2723 for directions.
